Cricket Nepal (cricket.com.np) is online since June 11, 2001 as the longest running sports news site of Nepal.
This portal is run by a group of cricket nuts, who would have loved to be cricketers, had their talents not failed them. However, they realized that they could make a living writing on the game, got together and are trying to influence others with their passion!
Ujjwal Acharya / Founder Editor
Ujjwal Acharya spent a decade in sports reporting. In search of a day job, he ran around from Nepal Samacharpatra to The Kathmandu Post to being online editor of myrepublica.com and digital editor of Annapurna Post.
When not working (and also when he is working) he wastes time talking cricket and is yet to kill his love for cricket. The bug disturbed him so much that he founded the site in 2001. And ever since, neither this team, nor the cricket fans have been able to rest.

Somesh Verma / Editor
Somesh Verma started off being sports reporter for The Kathmandu Post. He was okay with sports reporting until glamour pulled him to idiot box and was in Kantipur Television (Editor, English News) for long.
Wastes time reading and watching cricket. The team chose him to be editor of cricket.com.np, as none other had as much spare time. The spare time, hopefully, is being utilized by Nepali cricket fans.

Bhaskar Gyawali / Special Correspondent
Bhaskar Gyawali is all about glamour. Started career with Kantipur TV, as sports correspondent, landed in Republica as Sports chief and then he quit journalism.
Aspires to have his own businesses (to add to his already good going Parichaya Publications), when he’s not dreaming cricket (that’s 99 percent of the time). Contributes to Cricket Nepal from when he is not wasting time traveling.

Navin Khatiwada / Special Contributor
Navin Khatiwada was the Sports Editor at Republica national daily. Started off as a reporter in Radio Kantipur, moved on to Kantipur TV to crash in Republica.
He often dreams of becoming a cricketer after he turns 40, as he sees less competition in that age-group. Executive Member of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum, Navin contributes frequently to Cricket Nepal.
