Poor batting as Nepal slump to second defeat

Adnan Mufti’s maiden century coupled with a disciplined bowling performance helped United Arab Emirates record a 63-run victory over Nepal in its ICC World Cricket League Championship match at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday (December 8). Chasing 196 for a win, Nepal was all out for 132 in 42.2 overs after the UAE bowlers chipped away at the wickets at regular intervals. Vesawkar’s 81 in vain as UAE beat Nepal

United Arab Emirates rode on fifties from Rohan Mustafa and Ghulam Shabber to register a seven-wicket victory over Nepal in the ICC World Cricket League Championship match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on December 6. Chasing 222 for a win, UAE was off to a brisk start with Mustafa, the skipper, setting the tone with a stroke-filled 62 off 71 balls.
