Nepal need more international matched : Raju Khadka

BY PURUSHOTTAM KATTEL: The Nepali cricket team led by veteran allrounder Raju Khadka proved their potentials in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Trophy booking the Asia Cup Cricket Championship berth. Nepal entered the final of the championship but failed to clear the last hurdle as they went down by 6 wickets at the hands of the defending champions United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Nepal become ACC Trophy runner up

Nepal failed to restrict United Arab Emirates below 184 in Kallang of Singapore today thus allowing the defending champion to lift the trophy for the second time. UAE won the final clash by six wickets to deny the first time finalist Nepal from taking revenge of league clash which they won by six wickets. It was a perfect tournament for UAE who won all the six matches it played while Nepal lost two of six. Nepal has qualified for Asia Cup that also features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, which has been the greatest success for Nepal.
