Nepal miss out Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

Nepal women missed out an opportunity to participate in the global qualifiers for the Women’s World Cup as it finished second in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series Asia Region in Hong Kong behind Thailand. However, second place finish mean that Nepal women will play the Asia Cup Women’s Cricket planned for November, 2016 in Thailand alongside the teams from four Test nations and the hosts. Thailand was guranteed a place as hosts in the six-team event. Unbeatable Panchakanya Tez wins Wai Wai Everest Premier League T20

In one of the most exciting match of the Wai Wai Everest Premier League (EPL) Twenty20, Aasif Sheikh hit an unbeaten century to help Panchakanya Tez defeat Colors X-Factors to lift the title. Teenager Aasif hit 111 in 64 balls with 7 fours and 8 sixes as Panchakanya Tez amassed 171/4 in 20 overs.
