ICC confirms at least 36 ODIs for Nepal until January 2022

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the first eight series of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 to begin in August 2019 on the Road to India 2023. The Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 provides more competitive cricket for Nepal, Namibia, Oman, PNG, Scotland, UAE and USA, with each team playing 36 One Day Internationals (ODIs) over two and half years from August 2019 to January 2022, where teams are just two steps away from the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Nepal is best-ranked Associate in global T20I ranking

Nepal is the ranked 11th in the world in the Twenty20 International cricket – the best ranking outside the Test world. Nepal moved three spots from the last ranking when it was ranked 14th place. The International Cricket Council (ICC) today unveiled an expanded MRF Tyres ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings table with 80 teams. TThe first men’s T20I ranking table features all Members meeting the criteria of having played six matches against other ICC members since May 2016.
