National Sports Council (NSC) has announced a new ad hoc committee of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) retaining most of its former members including President Jai Kumar Nath Shah.
Those who were in the dissolved committee and did not found any place in the new committee are Pramos Upadhaya (vice-president), Uma Karki (vice-president), Shahi Dutt Pandey (Treasurer), Damodar Nath Suwal (joint secretary), Rajendra Bahadur Bam, BS Gurung, Narendra Shrestha, BS Dhami and Anil Shah (all members).
Former secretary Binay Raj Pandey is a vice-president in the 26-member committee. Other vice-presidents are Tarini Bikram Shah, Shree Harsha Koirala and Shree Niwas Rana. Only Rana, a former player, is new among them.
The committee includes following old members: Udaya Shamsher Thapa, Upendra Bhattarai, Tarak Mani Dixit and Laxman Prasad Bastola. Bastola has been appointed joint secretary.
New members in the committee are: Pradip Raj Pandey (secretary), Shashi Subedi (treasurer),Amrit Shumsher Thapa, Arab Shah, Ashoknath Pyakurel, Basanta Raj Satyal, Diwakar Ghale, Kiran SJB Rana, Chatur Chand, Pradip Karki, B Pandey, Ranjeet Rana, LB Chettri, Shyam Sundar Khetan, Mankaji Shrestha and Sail Sundar Misra.
