Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the Under-15 Dream Team – the team of cream chosen from the recently held U-15 Asia Cup.
Despite reaching the finals, Afghanistan failed to find any spot while champion Nepal has one – wicket keeper opener Dipen Shrestha.
It is learnt that Nepal and Afghanistan fielded many overaged players which affected the selection of the team.
The team will travel to Pakistan in May.
“But for a few players, like Pranav Rai and Mohsin Jafri from the UAE for example, who are unavailable due to exam and domestic commitments, the squad is truly representative of the best U-15 cricketers, as witnessed during the recent ACC U-15 Cupâ€Â, said Iqbal Sikander, ACC Development Officer and the manager of the team. “I expect the high-class opposition in Pakistan to be seriously challenged.â€Â
