Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Development Manager Sultan Rana and Development Officer Rumesh Ratnayake arrived Kathmandu today for a four-day visit during which they will inspect the preparations for upcoming ACC U-19 Cricket Tournament.
The ACC decided that Nepal will host the U-19 Asia Cup during November 8-18.
Rana and Ratnayake will visit four proposed grounds – TU University Ground, Tundikhel, Pulchowk Engineering Ground and Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya Ground – and Mulpani, the site for the construction of ACC Central Academy, during their stay.
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) secretary Laxman Prasad Bastola received them at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
