National captain Binod Das exchanged rings with his sweetheart Karuna KC at a family ceremony in Kathmandu on Wednesday. On Saturday, December 13, they will get married.
The engagement took place in a small ceremony at Karuna’s house in presence of Binod’s parents and Karuna’s mother. Only three cricketers, Dipendra Chaudhary, Sarad Vesawkar and Paras Khadka were invited for the engagement.
Paras, Karuna’s sister Sajana, Karuna, Binod and Dipendra.
Binod and Karuna, both 25, started seeing each other in 2004 when the national cricket team was accommodated at Hotel Plaza at Naxal for closed-camp training. Karuna, a Buddha Air employee, lives at Naxal.
“I am very happy,” Binod said after the engagement.
