The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) will play three 50-over matches, a Twenty20 game and a three-day match in Kathmandu when they tour Nepal in March.
According to the schedule, MCC, the English club based at Lords’, will arrive Kathmandu on March 18 and leaves on April 1. They will play limited over matches on March 20 (against Nepal Red), March 21 (against Nepal Blue) and March 22 (against Secretary’s XI).
The touring side will coach Nepali Under-17 side on March 23 and 24 and play a Twenty20 match on March 24 afternoon. The three-day game, against President’s XI, is scheduled to begin on March 27. All MCC activities in Nepal will be based at TU Cricket Ground.
The club will visit Pokhara for a day before returning.
MCC had last toured Nepal in 2005 when they played four limited over matches at the same venue. In February, they toured Mozambique winning all six matches they had played.
