Nepal produced consecutive victory in the ongoing ACC U-16 Elite Cup cricket tournament, outplaying Bahrain by eight wickets at the Kinrara cricket ground in Malaysia on Sunday.
Nepal reached the 142-run target losing only two wickets in 21.2 overs, with man of the match Dipendra Chand top-scoring 75. Nurdhoj Sen made 41.
Earlier, wining the toss and electing to bat first, Bahrain scored 141, losing all wickets, in 39.5 overs. Nepali bowler Akash Bista took three wickets conceding just14 runs.
On Friday, Nepal in their opening match had defeated Kuwait by 78 runs, while Bahrain lost their first match against Malaysia by 43 runs.
Nepal will take on Iran at the Bayuemas cricket ground on Tuesday.
