Nepali cricket umpire Buddhi Bahadur Pradhan was one of the on-field umpires of the Women’s World Cup match between England and Sri Lanka played in Mumbai on Friday.
International Cricket Council (ICC) has nominated Pradhan as one of the umpires in the Women’s World Cup. Pradhan is considered one of the finest umpires from the associate countries and he had officiated the final match of the ICC World T20 Qualifiers between Ireland and Afghanistan in UAE last year.
So far, Pradhan has already officiated 18 One-Day International matches and 4 T20 international matches. He has been listed in the ICC Associate and Affiliates Umpires Panel since 2005.
