An inspired bowling performance from Avinash Karn helped Region No 2 (Birgunj) crush Region No 7 (Janakpur) by 10 wickets on Monday at the Pokhara Stadium and strengthen its hopes of reaching the semifinals of Wai Wai U-19 National Cricket Tournament.
With the win, Birgunj has four points from three matches in Group B of the tournament. Region No 4 (Bhairahawa) leads the points table with four points from two matches while Region No 8 (Pokhara) has two points from two matches.
