Three Nepalis – Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami and Gyanendra Malla have entered the MRF ICC ODI Players Rankings, the ICC said in a statement on August 13.
Leg spinner Sandeep is ranked 217th globally in bowlers’ ranking after taking four wickets in the two-match series against Netherlands.
Sompal Kami (229th) and Gyanendra Malla (236th) are the leading batsmen for Nepal after notching a half-century each in the Amstelveen series.
Nepal still needs to play two more ODI to get a ranking in the ODI Team’s Rankings.
