Nepal beat Malaysia by 9 wickets to continue its unbeaten run in the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship at KOC, Hubara in Kuwait.
Malaysia scored 68 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs after they elected to bat first. Nepal knocked off the required runs in 14 overs for a comprehensive victory.
Sita Rana scored unbeaten 21 runs for the victory.
Earlier, player of the match Rubina Chhetri grabbed three wickets and Karuna Bhandari claimed two wickets to restrict Malaysia to a lowly total. E Eliani topscored 33 for Malaysia.
It’s fourth win for Nepal in four league matches. Nepal will now meet the Group A runners-up in the semifinal on February 24 at Hubara.
