U-19 Cricket Team Get Cash Boost
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) awarded Sarad Vesawkar and Amrit Bhattarai a motorbike each while also providing each of 17 members of the team Rs. 15,000 cash for winning the ACC U-19 Cup.

We Are The Best In Region
Chit-chat with Roy Dias Roy Luke Dias has been Nepal’s coach for the last five years. The former Sri Lankan international, who had coached Sri Lanka in 1999 World Cup, has been instrumental in Nepali cricket’s progress on the field. On Saturday, the 53-year-old coach added another feather to his cap as the Nepali Under-19 team won the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-19 Cup cricket tournament for the third consecutive time. Nepal Face Malaysia in the Final
Same old story again! Nepal and Malaysia will play the final of the ACC U-19 Cup for the third consecutive time. Nepal will be hoping to repeat the performance of last two years while Malaysia look to avenge. On Thursday, Nepal defeated Kuwait by 9 wickets while Malaysia edged Qatar by 60 runs in the semifinals.

Interview with Kaniska If Nepal wins the ACC U-19 Cup cricket tournament for the third time, it would be Kaniska Chaugai who would lift the cup. Kaniska, who had been taking charge of any level team for the first time, is confident that Nepal will successfully defend the title it had won in 2001 in Kathmandu and 2003 in Karachi, Pakistan.

Nepali Cricket 2004: Looking Back in Disgust
That one defeat against Qatar in the ACC Trophy in June not only overshadowed many other good things about Nepali cricket but also turned down the hopes of all Nepalis into ashes as 2004 became the worst year, both on and off the grounds, since Nepal’s entrance into the international arena.
