Bhairahawa in Semi, Birgunj Out
When Rahul BK was bowling during Bhairahawa’s first match against Nepalgunj, national vice-captain Shakti Gauchan was praising the little-boy saying: ‘he bowls better than me.’ The left-arm spinner proved it with an all-round performance against Birgunj that took Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj to the semifinals.

Rom Inspires Kathmandu Against Biratnagar
At 138/9, the team that scored tournament highest 326 looked like heading for a defeat; but Rom Shrestha, the fat-boy, had other ideas. With the last man, Raman Shrestha, he added 45 valuable runs with three sixes and three fours to set a platform for a 77-run victory for Region No 3 Kathmandu against Region No 1 Biratnagar at the TU Cricket Ground.

Biratnagar Beats Baitadi to Enter Semi
It was the match that produced just 168 runs apart from two splendid bowling figures. It also confirmed the semifinal berth for Biratnagar and Kathmandu and ended Baitadi’s campaign in the Wai Wai U-19 National Cricket Tournament with the second defeat.
