Rain the villain for Nepal at Women’s World T20 Asia Qualifiers
Nepal finished third in the 2018 ICC Women’s World T20 Asia Qualifiers and failed to qualify further in Thailand due to rain washing out first two matches and a surprise loss. Rain plays villain On first day on November 20 at the TCG between Thailand and Nepal finished as a no-result after 3.4 overs of the second innings. Nepal miss out Women’s World Cup Qualifiers
Nepal women missed out an opportunity to participate in the global qualifiers for the Women’s World Cup as it finished second in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series Asia Region in Hong Kong behind Thailand. However, second place finish mean that Nepal women will play the Asia Cup Women’s Cricket planned for November, 2016 in Thailand alongside the teams from four Test nations and the hosts. APF win Women’s Nat’l Trophy
Nepal Armed Police Club (APF) Club completed hat trick of title beating Region No 5 Nepalgunj by 114 runs in the final of the National Women’s Cricket Tournament. In a final played at TU Ground, APF scored 187 for 8 wickets in allotted 4 overs and restricted injury-hit Nepalgunj for 73 runs for 8 wickets in 33.5 overs. Nepalgunj was two-players short after captain Nary Thapa and Rekha Thapa left the match early. Nepal finishes third as Thailand wins title
Nepal finished the ACC Women’s Championship at the third position as it thrashed Hong Kong by eight wickets in the play-off match played at the Gymkhana Ground, Thailand on Thursday. Nepal elected to field in the match reduced to 19 overs a side. Nepal restricted Hong Kong at 32/9 and successfully chased the low target in 7.3 overs losing two wickets. Nepal collapses to lowest ever total
Nepal’s dream of playing in the final of ACC Women’s Championship came to an end on Wednesday as the Nepali team collapsed to its lowest ever total in the semifinal against Thailand at the Prem Oval in Thailand. Thailand pulled off an emphatic seven-wicket victory after skittling Nepal out for a paltry 38 runs. Nepal sets up semifinal against Thailand
Nary Thapa put up an all-round performance to seal a six-wicket victory for Nepal over Hong Kong in the ACC Women’s Championship on Monday. Nepali girls ease into semis
Nepal confirmed a semifinal spot along with Hong Kong in the ACC Women’s Championship on Sunday. Nepal defeated Malaysia by seven wickets at Royal Chiang Mai, Thailand while Hong Kong pulled off a thrilling 16-run victory over Bhutan to advance into the semifinals from Pool A of the tournament. Nepal takes on Bhutan on Thursday
Nepal is to take on Bhutan in its first match of the ACC Women’s Championship on Thursday at the Prem Oval, Thailand. It is the second meeting between the two national sides in women’s cricket. Nepal had met Bhutan in the ACC Women’s T20 Championship in 2009 and won the match by eight wickets. Woman cricketers eye on title
Nepali women’s cricket team is all set to fly Thailand on Monday to participate in the ACC Women’s Championship with a high morale and expectation of winning the trophy. But women’s team of Western Region is special, for it has 7 players coming from the same school. And the school’s name is Apex School from Shankarnagar VDC, in Rupandehi district. Govt to award U-19 Women’s cricket team
Nepal Government announced cash incentive of Rs 200,000 each to the team members of the ACC U-19 Women’s Championship winning cricket team on Thursday. Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hridayesh Tripathi informed reporters about the decision after Thursday’s meeting of Council of Ministers. Nepal defend ACC U-19 Women’s Championship
Nepal pulled a six-wicket victory over Thailand in the ACC U-19 Women’s Championship Cricket Tournament on Friday to complete title hat-trick at Hubara Ground, Kuwait. Nepali men’s Under-19 cricket team has a history of winning ACC U-19 title 4 times in a row. Nepali U-19 girls team is chasing the same target. The team is prepared to participate in ACC U-19 women’s championship, in Kuwait, with an aim to take the title for the third time. Among boys, Nepal won the title 4 times, between 2001 to 2007, and played in ICC U-19 World Cup five times. Come August, Nepal will play in the U-19 World Cup for the sixth time, in Australia. Janakpur won the inaugural National U-19 Woman Cricket Tournament beating Bhairahawa by 6 wickets in the final at the TU Cricket Ground. Batting first Bhairahawa scored 66 for 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Janakpur needed 14.3 overs to overcome the target in the loss of four wickets.

Bhairahawa, Janakpur to play for U-19 title
Despite having a record partnership of 107 runs for the first wicket, Baitadi failed to qualify for the final of the Women´s U-19 National Cricket Tournament on TU Cricket Ground. Indu Berma put yet another all-round performance as Bhairahawa crushed Nepalgunj by 46 runs at the IOE Ground and confirmed a place in the semifinal of the Women’s U-19 National Cricket Tournament. Nepal bowed out of the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship after losing their semifinal match against the defending champions Hong Kong by nine wickets. In the last edition of the championship, held in Malaysia in 2009, too, Nepal were thwarted in the semifinals by the same opponent.

Rashmi Sharma displayed an all-round performance helping Nepal comprehensively beat UAE in the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship league match at KEC, Kuwait.
