Gyanendra Malla will lead the Nepali cricket team in the South Asian Games next year, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on Sunday.
CAN also named 18 players for the event to be played from January 29 to February 8, 2010 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Other members of the team include Amrit Bhattarai, Chandra Sawad, Binod Bhandari, Naresh Budair, Subash Khakurel, Lokendra Chanda and Prithu Baskota.
Rupesh Srivastav, Bhuwan Karki, Anil Mandal, Akash Gupta, Amit Shrestha, Rom Shrestha, Pradeep Sapkota, Pradeep Airee, Anupam Singh and Sagar Pun are other members in the team.
The team consists of players who are under 23 years old as per the rules of the SAG. The national selection committee headed by Arun Kumar Aryal named the team.
