Pradhan to officiate County cricket

Nepal’s most prolific cricket umpire Buddhi Pradhan could add a feather in his cap as he may get an opportunity to officiate English county matches for 2012 season.

Pradhan is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel and officiated the ICC World Twenty20 Cup qualifiers final most recently.

Sources close to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) said that England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has contacted Pradhan to inquire about his willingness and availability.  If everything goes well, ECB will make all the arrangements for his stay in England in co-ordination with ICC.

Pradhan had already officiated 18 One-Day International matches and four T20 International matches.
