DCA team, consisting of 17 players and seven officials, will play nine matches with the age group teams of different Sri Lankan clubs. According to DCA President Subash Shahi, the tour was arranged under the initiation of national team coach Pubudu Dassanayake. “The tour will be vital in establishing relation with Sri Lankan cricket,” said Shahi during the farewell program held at Dhangadhi on Thursday. “Lack of exposure is a major problem of Nepali cricket. Thus we have tried to overcome the problem,” he added.

DCA was set up a year ago and has been recognized as the first branch of NationalCricketAcademy run by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
